My daughter who is nearly 4 years old keeps picking the skin around her fingers till they bleed. Even though its sore she can’t help picking. I have watched her for the past few weeks and she does it subconsciously like she doesn’t even realise she’s doing it. I have now resorted to putting band aids on some of her fingers to help break the cycle so let’s hope that helps! What I want to know is why is she doing this subconsciously? And how can I help her?
