Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my right arm and hand are substantially cooler than my left arm and hand. I am a 64 year old white male 6 tall and 223 lbs in general good health. I am at a computer 6 hrs a day and walk 9000 steps most days and use a 15 lb dumbell to exercise my arms in curls and various motions (2-3 sets of 10 reps each motion every other day)....the coldness of my right arm and hand persists even during a 2 mile walk with warm jacket.
It is due to neuropathy that you have cold feelings in your hands and arm of the side.
As your history suggests you use the computer for a prolonged time and due to that by standing and working on a fixed posture you have developed neuropathy.
However, you need clinical examination as well.
Better is to report emergency room for proper evaluation and accordingly, your concerns will be addressed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
Dentist
