What Causes Cold And Congestion Along With Sharp Pain In Left Chest And Back?
Hi, I m 36 year old female and have had a chest cold. Have been coughing up thick green mucus. Now I have a sharp pain on my left side under my breast that radiates to my back. It comes and goes and almost feels like a cramp or spasm. Any idea what it may be? I have not been to the dr about my cold but have been trying to decide whether or not to go when this pain started. The infection must have involved the lungs as well which may have resulted in the pain reflex you have been experiencing due to the commin innervation. I would recommend a visit to the doctor along with a chest xray and an elaborate blood panel, you most certainly have an infection.
