What Causes Cluster Of Red Protruding Spots On The Underside Of Elbow?

I have a small cluster of red protruding spots located on the underside of the elbow area. I have suffered from quite a few skin complaints in the past, but nothing quite like this. Coinsidentaly, my great nephew has the same type of spots located on the back of his neck near his shoulder. Many thanks Jacky

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be cherry angioma. The lesion consists dilated and proliferated capillaries in the skin. It is a benign condition. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. It may be kept untreated as it is harmless. If it is embarrassing, you may go for treatment. It may be removed by electro cautery under local anaesthesia.

Hope this helps.
