What Causes Chronic Vomiting?

My husband , today, for no obvious reason, is repeatedly vomiting, a wrenching bout probably every half hour or less. He has eaten nothing since last night, and has not taken his VA meds yet today. This has happened before, once or twice a year. He is not keeping fluids down. Temperature seems normal. One of his meds is a daily 15 mg meloxicam. the others are citalopram, propranolol, hydrochlorothiazide and occasionally tramadol before bed. he smokes marijuana almost daily in eve. Can this stomach trauma be a drug reaction? I really only want a one time thing. Do not want a monthly subscription, which seems to be the only option.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Does he take antiemetic before Tramadol? Because that may be the reason why he is having such vomiting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
