What Causes Chronic Sense Of Obstruction In Throat?

I have choking in my throat over the last six weeks sometime accompanied by thin streaks of blood and feel extremely tireda lot of the time. I am over 60 years old and do not smoke but do have other major health issues.Should I go see my doctor about this?

you said that you have choking in throat over the last 6 weeks which is sometimes accompanied with blood streaks.

there are different causes for this but your age and non smoker history excludes some of those causes.

you mentioned that you have other health issues too.
you should visit your physician and have to go through a detailed history including drug history and you may have to go through throat examination. thin blood streaks and feelings of tiredness are two important symptoms which make you consultation with physician necessary.

one of the important aspect is anxiety which leads to feeling of such lump / choking sensation in throat although its an unusual symptom .
