What Causes Chronic Pain In Fibula And Ankle Bones?

I had a fracture on the lower bone of fibula a year ago due to skiing . I went for a jog yesterday in the morning and after around 1km the same area where i got the fracture alongwith the ankle started paining badly. I had to take a whole day rest to get rid of the pain. Is it something I should ignore or get it checked from an ortho? Is it also because of calcium deficiency? I am 25 yr old , IT professional , hence very low physical activities. Regards

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of pain at your fibula and ankle region following a previous fracture in the region I am suggesting that your fracture site has not healed properly and the pain is being aggravated by your vigorous exercise
In view of this please do mild exercise and take th the following
Antibiotic
Multivitamin
Hematinics
Analgesic
Meanwhile if the symptoms continues please see your orthopaedic physician for further clinical assessment
I hope this helps
