What Causes Chronic Intermittent Breathing Trouble?

Hi, I ve been having trouble breathing the past 3 years or so. The sensation occurs fairly randomly, does not seem stress related, and feels like I can t get a deep breath and like my throat is being constricted. It happens frequently during exercise, especially weightlifting (and in the days following). I frequently yawn to try and get relief, and cough up mucus from my lungs so I m curious if it could be related to that. I m 23, an athlete and always have been, exercise regularly, am not overweight.

symptoms suggest obstructive airway disease like Asthma. It would be helpful if you could provide some more info like
- Any seasonal variation you noticed?
-Any other allergic condition like allergies to food or drugs
-Similar illness in family
-Any X ray or Blood reports you have.
But most probable diagnosis is Asthma. Please provide above mentioned info to help you more specifically. Thank you.
