What Causes Chronic Headache Along With Nausea?

I am a 65 yo female, 5 5 138#. I survived a ruptured appendix 1995 then ovarian cancer stage IIIC 2003 and in a groin lymph node2008. There s a cyst on my left kidney since 2004. I m experiencing chronic headache across the forehead and low right quadrant pain for the last 4 months and mild nausea for about 2 weeks, now, also. [last scan 2012.] I have been on Levothryoxin 100 mcg/day all my adult life. I ve been gluten free for 3 + years; use homeopathic or natural remedies rather than medications and eat as healthy as possible on a limited income.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a migraine. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen my three times a day. If the symptoms continue I recommend seeing a neurologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
