What Causes Chronic Diarrhea Post A Tonsillectomy?

Hi Im a 26yr old male and I have my tonsil removed on June 7th and on June 18th I ve started to have very bad diarrhea. It s been going on for 3 days now. I stopped taking the meds for the pain on the 17th. Could it have something to do with the meds?
