What Causes Chronic Depression And Facial Grimacing While Having Bipolar Disorder?
Hi. I am in Australia. My brother in South Africa has been diagnosed as bipolar. However, he has not responded at all well to the medication prescribed by his psychiatrist. While the mania has subsided, he is deeply depressed and is having increasingly severe symptoms involving facial grimacing and a fell of intense pressure closing around his head like a metal bathing cap.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the functional condition then it may needs long term treatment along with counselling and it can not be cures early, unless patient tries to come out of this without the medicine with on its own , hope this information helps.
