What Causes Chronic Abdominal Pain And Black Stool Inspite Of Taking Zolpidem?
I have chronic upper left abd pain. It has been getting worse over these past 2 years. Stress worsens it. I had two weeks of black stool..it has reversed now...but pain still there. Many doctors I have complained to basically shrug it off as indigestion. Maybe it is..but it is becoming a life issue. I am 62 years...5 9...175 lbs...good health otherwise and take no meds except zolpedim..1/2 tablet at night 10mg.
Your physician may prescribe ultrasound and stool examination. They will tell or give a diagnosis. A gastroenterologist can be concerned for this. Lifestyle and stress are major causes. 'Art of Living' online OMBW have relieved gastro issues. You can join it. It has no side effects. Take medicines as usual.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
