What Causes Choking Sensation In The Throat At Night In A Regular Smoker?
Mostly at night I have been feeling a tightness in my throat which makes the impression that it is hard to swallow or breathe. Sometimes during the night I feel as though I am choking. Not everyday, but maybe day yes or no or even just on the weekends I smoke Colts Cigars. Per day, maybe 4. This has been bothering me for 2 weeks. Is smoking the cause?

Cannot say in your particular case. the possible causes are many and range from minor irritation and nasal drainage to asthma to serious heart trouble. A simple physical would likely be able to differentiate the possibiliities and certainly minor testing would show what is going on and how to treat it.
