What Causes Choking Feel In Throat And Slight Tingling In Chest?

Lastnight while eating I inhaled and it felt like I inhaled a peice of food. I was having trouble breathing to the point where my body was feeling like it was falling asleep.. Dizzy.. And fading vision. My family called an ambulance. They tested everything blood pressure and heart rate and listened to my lungs. They said due to not being able to take ample air it caused me to panic and after a while I could breath better and the tingling in my arms and face went away. Today when I breath in the left side of my chest feels cold after a large exhale with slight tingling. What could this be? I don t have insurance nor money to cover a large visit.. It obviously don t want to let something serious go too far.

Hi.
Read and understood your history of inhaling some food particle and the condition of as good as passing away as explained by you. BY the time you reached the ER you recovered but the feeling of feeling cold on the left chest on exhaling remains.

I would again examine your chest by auscultation with stethoscope, get an X-ray done.
If there is anything doubtful, will get CT scan of the chest and Bronchoscopy to make it certain.
This is so because as you have rightly note the complications of foreign body in the lungs is very dangerous and can lead to lung abscess.

This plan should solve your problems.
