What Causes Chills, Body Ache And Confusion While Suffering From Atrial Fibrillation?
My 84 year old mother has A-fib. For the past week she has been experiencing sweats and chills, weakness and body aches as well as pains in her head that she describes as little twinges on the right side. She is getting confused mildly but refuses to go to the doctor.

Atrial fibrillation will cause the heart not pump blood as it should. So body tissues including the brain suffer from low blood supply or inadequate blood supply. This can cause all symptoms you mention including confusion, weakness and the pains and sweats.
