Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, Thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
Has he lost any other milestone like speech or smiling etc.?
If such a child comes in my clinic I would like to rule out muscular dystrophies, neuropathies spinal anomalies and degenerative disorders in him.
I would like to do following invetigations:
NCV(nerve conduction velocity)
EMG(electro mayography)
CPK levels(blood)
MRI spine if required.
In my opinion you should consult a paediatric neurologist who will be able to do the investigations for him
I hope I have helped you.
Thank You.
