What Causes Chest Pressure And Breathlessness?
My daughter has been sick since November. She started with ear problems. Once that got cleared up she had a sinus infection and ended up with pneumonia and bronchitis. Since then she has had many test. Chest exray, ct scan, asthma test. All are clear now. She still has chest pressure, pain in and near Strum, hard to breath sometimes. They are treating her now for asthma with inhaler and nebulized treatments. She is no better. Do you have any ideas please??? She is 47. Thanks

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chest pressure and breathlessness. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like , anxiety disorder , chest infection like bronchitis and acid reflux disease . But in your case the symptoms can also occur due to cardiac problem . You should visit a physician/ cardiologist an ECG or ECHO would be done. Don't take this problem lightly. Doctor may also order troponin t and complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , frusamide , isosorbide nitrate along with aspirin . Doctor may also refer you to chest specialist for chest infection . For now drink green tea with ginger thrice a day , avoid bending forward , tale proper rest and apply dry warm compresses to chest .
