Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

No need to worry for heart related pain. This kind of bite when intense can cause damage to underlying muscles and tissue. So superficial skin bruise is healed in few days. But underlying injury will take more time for healing. It may take 2-3 weeks. You can apply ice packs on affected area. Apply thrombophob ointment. Take painkiller and anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these in 2-3 weeks. No need to worry for heart diseases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

My son 6 year old has chest pain what could be the cause?

Hi. About a year ago i started having occasional chest pain. Sometimes on the right side and sometimes on the left. I went to the doctor and I was told that it was nothing to worry about. In the past year I have had this pain come and go but in the past few weeks more often than not I have had atleast a small amount of tightness in my chest, mostly on the left side. When the pain is at its worst breathing in deeply increases the pain. Also while the pain is bad extending out my left arm to grab something can cause a sharp increase in pain momentarily. I have noticed that the pain is typically more intense after smoking marijuana. Do you have any ideas what this could be?

I m a 19 year old female and I have had pain in my chest off and on for about 6-7 years. It used to come on for a few days and then go away for 5 or 6months before it would hit agian. This last year has been much more often though. It s not like heartburn. I get that and i know what it feels like and antacids do nothing to help. If i apply pressure with my hand it feels better. I noticed sometimes it would be brought on by stress but then sometimes i would just be sitting in class and it would start. It doesn t follow eating or exercise. Asprin used to help, but I ve been taking it this time around and it hasn t been doing anything to help. What could be causing this?
