Hi! I am having this needle like pain in my chest for the past several months. It s not a severe pain but its more like a discomfort. It comes and goes. Some days a have it some days I don t. And I can t figure it out why I get these pains and what can it be?
Hi, Welcome to the HCM There can be some causes of chest pain .it depends what is the preceding history. For example if it occur after having large meal or while hungry can be associated with reflux acidity. If it occur after climbing some stairs or exertion ,it could be cardiac, even it could be muscle pain too due to wrong posture. So I would suggest get checked by nearby doctor and you may need some investigations for example ECG,24 hr PH studies and x_ray chest to be done after discussing with your treating doctor. Regards,Dr.Maheshwari
