What Causes Chest Pain While Suffering From Myasthenia Gravis?

Hello, I have Myasthenia Gravis and have good days and bad days as far as symptoms go. But sometimes it s hard to know if the chest pain I have everyday is from my medicine or just a symptom, or something else. I ve had my ticker (heart, lol) checked and that all looks good. I will be having a thymectomy in February, so my Neorologist is trying to keep me stable with meds til then and so far so good. It s just that the chest pain is uncomfortable. My neoro also doesn t believe it s caused by my meds or myasthenia. What do you think it could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out cardiac causes like angina.

Detailed evaluation including ECG and echo are required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
