What Causes Chest Pain While On Prozac?

after very reluctantly taking Prozac for approximately 6 months , I have dropped the drug after gaining excess of 20 pounds and having chest pain and ongoing serious lethargy. have had many other health problems crop up that have not gone away. how long will it take to get rid of the side effects from use of this drug.??? I was in excellent health before taking it and only took it because the dr decided I was depressed... ( strange diagnosis for me ) as I did not see her for any depression issues to begin with

the effect of prozac are reversible, most of them. now that your not on the drug anymore, all you need to do is plan a healthy working out and diet routine and stick to it to achieve your targeted weight. as for the chest pain that might be a symptom of weight gain, since acidity could present as chest pain. to alleviate your anxiety get an ecg and Chest xray done and if it's normal wait for your symptoms to go back to normal. if it worsens of add symptoms develope it would be better to see your physician.
