Hi. I take 40mg Pantoprazole delayed release tablet once a day. I still get what I think is heartburn, (pain in chest and between shoulder blades. Last bout has been mostly on, but not as severe for about a week with worst at start and now. I take the maximum dose of calcium carbonate 1000mg/hydroxide 200mg chewable tablets and it doesn t help much (7 tablets usually within first 8 hours of severe pain). This is supposed to be max for 24 hours, so I don t take more. Thank you for your help.
