Hi,

Since you are having diabetes and hypertension, we should definitely rule out cardiac chest pain first.

So get done ECG and 2D echo. If both these are normal then no need to worry about heart diseases.

Metformin can also cause gastritis and this, in turn, causes indigestion and chest pain. So take Pantoprazole and Levosulpiride combination.

Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
