General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am of the opinion that the pain is highly unlikely due to any cardiac causes.

However, it is important that you consult a general surgeon regarding this and get an ultrasonography abdomen done to rule out any gall bladder ailments which can present as shoulder pain.

Also, the ultrasound will help to rule out pain due to hiatus hernia which you already have.

If everything seems normal then probably an endoscopy will help detect the status of GERD as an increase in reflux oesophagitis can cause such pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
