What Causes Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath?
I have a chest infection. My gp prescribed Amoxicillan 500mg x2 three times per day for 10 days. Also 1x klacid for 7 days and 6 steroid red tabs for 6 days. My question is....do you think that s too much?. I am very short of breath and chest is sore. The infection seems to be cleared though. I am on day 7 of Amoxicillan now, day 3 of the other 2.

The chest infection gives pain and shortness of breath due to irritation of underlying bronchi.
Addition of bronchi dilator, steroids and anti-inflammatory drugs will support great to fast progress.
