What Causes Chest Pain And Palpitations While On Cefdinir?
My son started taking Cefdinir on Thursday for Strep. He started complaining Sunday night of his heart hurting. It was beating fairly fast but not terribly. He did have reflux as a baby. Could it be the medication or does he need to be seen by a doctor?

It might be a sign of reflux, worsened by Cefdinir.
He can try using Omeprazole once daily in morning before breakfast for 15 days.
