Hello,
your situation sounds like you need an urgent assessment by a cardiologist! Changing the regimen may indeed cause side effects but I suppose that your doctor had a plan - you should it discuss it with him after you get an urgent assessment! Common problems related to these drugs may include some of the following (obviously the list is not exhaustive) :
- changing the
beta-blocker from
bisoprolol to carvedilol may require some time to adjust and perhaps titration of the dosage
- drugs like ridaq may cause low sodium levels (affected clarity of thought, sleep disorders,
lightheadedness,
tiredness, etc)
- drugs like ridaq may cause low potassium levels (arrhythmias - heart beating fast - weakness, etc)
- a new regimen may cause a sudden drop to the
arterial blood pressure
I cannot suggest a change in your regimen at this time. You should first be assessed by a doctor. Since you're feeling that your chest is full of liquid, you should seek the assessment urgently.
I hope I've answered your question. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Dr. Panagiotis Zografakis,
