What Causes Chest Bruising With Soreness?

im 32 male, and have chf I had an ICD implanted little over a year ago and have been taking medications for my condition also have cardiomyothopy (cant spell ) I have a bruise on the left side of my chest that is some what tender and dont know how it got there Its about the size of a quarter and about an inch below my left nipple and my rib is also sore in that area

Chest bruising with soreness can be occasional complications of ICD implantation.
This is not related to your underlying cardiomyopathy.I strongly recommend you to have a 2D screening echo and complete blood profile to rule out the possibility of infection.Topical antibiotics like neosporin will help.consult your cardiologist for further help,
