What Causes Chemical Taste On Coughing While Having Asthma?
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic The taste of chemicals may indicate that the cough is productive. The use of a mucolytic (medication to help break up the mucus) may help to expel the mucus. eg of mucolytics are bisolvan, mucomyst, guifenesin You may also need to temporarily increase the dose of your preventor inhaler to help regain control. It may be best to see your doctor for assessment. I hope this helps
