What Causes Change In Testicular Size When Diagnosed With Varicocele?

I was diagnosed with a Vericocele on one of my testicles when I was in high school. One of my testicles has always been ALOT larger than the other one. Recently I have noticed it a lot more and I feel like it is getting bigger and bigger. Also I feel like it is disformed and not right. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
A varicocele is an abnormal enlargement of the pampiniform venous plexus, which drains the testicles, in the scrotum.
Since in your case, it seems that your testis size is increasing, it indirectly states that the varicocele is also progressing.
You need to consult Surgeon at the earliest and undergo varicocele surgery.
An alternative to surgery is embolization, which is a minimally invasive treatment that is performed by an interventional radiologist.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
