What causes calf pain?

Hi. I tore my meniscus in my knee in the beginning of June. It is a bucket handle tear and I will probably need surgery. My question is that I have been experiencing calf pain in the same leg for the last two days. Can this be related to my meniscus tear? I am a 40year old healthy women. Thanks

Hi, madam to avert the pain from your torn miniscus you may be overstressing the calf muscles that can cause pain there. you should go for treatment of your tear as early as possible.
