What Causes Burning Sensation While Urinating?

I have a burning sensation while urinating and the tip is red all the time. I noticed that ever since I wore a brand new pair of underwear before washing them I ve been iritated in that area. I owe a lot due to high liquid consumption and my bladder has a slight pain to it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to urinary tract infection/urethritis/cyctitis.
Contact dermatitis should be rule out.
I would suggest to consult the internal medicine specialist and undergo examination, urethral swab tests, urine routine ans microscopic test to confirm the cause
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet septran
Tablet pyridium
Syrup cital
Drink plenty of water and juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene and wash the part with warm salted water
Wear pure cotton loose inner
Do not delay in empty the bladder and empty it completely
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
