Wysolone comes under Corticosteroid group of drugs suppressing your immunity and giving more chances of UTI even in absence of bacteria. * Maintain your hydration levels at its best by taking plenty of boiled water, coconut water, rice water, juices, tea , coffee , butter milk, lemon juice. * Maintain your BP , Blood Sugar levels under control. * Ask your Dr. to taper and stop Wysolone as soon as possible. * Cranberry sachets dissolved in water helpful a lot. * Avoid oily, spicy , non-veg stuffs. * Avoid smoking / alcohol / other abuse drugs if at all consuming. * Maintain private part hygiene by thorough wiping from front to back after micturition so no perianal bacteria transmits to genitals. * Wear clean cotton underwears only. * Should refrain from sexual activities till it subsides totally. * Avoid pain killer tablets also till possible. * In certain cases we may suggest blood and urine culture work up according to the clinical presentation and need.
