What Causes Burning Sensation On The Skin After Exposure To Hydrogen Peroxide?
The cleaning person used a 3 % hydrogen peroxide to clean the bathroom without mixing it and wiped it off with a dry paper towel, I m getting a burning sensation on my skin when I go in the bathroom and need to rinse my self with cold water or get out of the house for about 10 minutes for it to go away what are your thoughts about this hydrogen peroxide being dangerous? My wife washed down the bathroom with water but it didn t help. I want to run our ozone machine for an hour today on high and set it on a timer to shut off and come back in after another hour and open some windows will this help get rid of the hydrogen peroxide there is no window in the bathroom. What effect does running the ozone air cleaner have on hydrogen peroxide?
As first-line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
