What Causes Burning Sensation On The Penis Tip?

Yes . . . the other night near the very end of having sex with my partner, I noticed a burning in the tip of my penis. Thought little of it however now it s still there-on the underneath and one the edge of the head of penis. Mostly hurts with pressure. I see nothing wrong. There s no discharge. Wondered if a lot of activity could have done it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Slight burning sensation when the water intake is reduced is expected and is quite natural. This does not give any suspicion of sexually transmitted diseases. However, it is better to undergo urinalysis to rule out urinary tract infection. Same time, increase your water intake to avoid this burning sensation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
