What Causes Burning Sensation In The Vagina?
Hi I have been having heat radiate from my vaginal area and it s making me extremely uncomfortable. I should note I recently have been talking laxatives for Constipation and amoxicillin for a very small UTI. Also their seems to be a cut on the inside skin next to the clitoris. What s going on?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you have this sensation in the vagina and white secretions without bad odor very likely you are having a vaginal candida infection. You have just finished a cure with antibiotics and antibiotics predispose vaginal candida infection. You can try Fluconazole or if you can not access that you can take Clotrimoxazol vaginal ovules and Clotrimoxazol cream from outside (on the vulval area). If no improvement in 3 days or any worsening you will need to see your doctor.
If your secretions are with bad odor than bacterial vaginosis or a sexually transmitted disease is the case and it is recommended to have a visit with your doctor to determine which is the case and get proper treatment.
