What Causes Burning Sensation In The Left Shoulder Blade?

I have a burning sensation in left shoulder blade area. The pain goes through my arm and neck and sometimes through my chest. I also have tingling in my fingers from this. I was recently diagnosed with a viral infection but that has since gone. These symptoms occurred when I had the infection.
