I have been feeling some kind of burning sensation in my chest cavity for a couple of weeks. I awoke tonight with a fluttered temporary pain in my left side under followed by a sharp one more in the central-right area that went away. Now that burning sensation is back.
Also get your ECG ,blood glucose,blood lipids done if age is more than 40 years. You can take PPIs like omeprazole once a day for 7 days. Avoid alcohol,tobacco,hot,spicy food,caffeine,NSAIDs as these may predispose to the condition. You can have a cup of lukewarm milk when you feel the burning sensation. Get minimum of 8 hours of sleep everyday. Avoid stress physical and psychological. If symptoms persist after 7 days,report to gastroenterologist.Upper GI endoscopy may be needed.
