What Causes Burning Sensation In Chest While Coughing?

I have been sick for about 5 days with bad headache and slight cough, very little fever. While coughing last night, I got a strange feeling in my lungs. It felt as there were hundreds of tiny needlles inside my lungs, both sides, kind of burning. Is this something I should be concerned about?

thanks for asking your question
i completely understand your query
in my opinion you have upper resp tract infection , infection is increasing to lower resp tract.
excessive coughing can cause that feeling of burning sensation in the chest.
mucous clearing and forcefull cough can cause the same symptom
you need to be started on broad spectrum antibiotics like cefexime and mucolytics like ambroxol.
you need to take consultation from a pulmonologist and get a chest xray done and disscuss the above mentioned treatment ,so that he can prescribe as per his opinion.
thanks /regards

may god bless you with good health
