Hi: Whenever I stand I felt a burning uncomfortable sensation on the back of right calf . The pain goes away when I sit. I had x-ray done. There was nothing wrong to my back. But recently I begin to feel pins and needles on on right foot especially on my toes whenever I stand. Please help me.

Hai,

Pain in the back of right calf might localized or refereed pain.

if any degeneration or nerve compression in lumbar vertebrae you may get pain in the right calf and root. it may relief while sitting.

localized cause may be peripheral neuritis.lack of B12 vitamin deficiency may also give the same sensation.

kindly visit a orhtopedic physician to rule the cause.
