What Causes Burning Sensation Below The Incision Post Knee Surgery?

I had a knee surgery 2011 due to subluxation of my patella ands Osgood schlatters. They made an incision in the patellar tendon to relax it where the patella could return home. I occasionally get a burning sensation at what seems it would be the bottom of that incision.
