What Causes Burning Sensation And Tightness In Chest?

I woke up in the middle of the night breathing in bile. My chest was burning and it was hard to breathe. eventually I coughed most of it up and the ache died down but I have not felt well, with a slight ache, and tightness in my chest all day today. Should I be concerned?

You have problem if burning sensation and tightness of chest.
Chest pain mostly related to heart problem.

Severe acidity may cause burning sensation at chest.

Because of decrese blood supply to heart muscle cause angina or myocardial problems like coronary artery diseae.
You don't mention a pain intensity and aggravating factor.

Lung problem like asthsma,pulmonary hypertation....etc cause chest pain.

Gastric problem may cause chest pain.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease may cause burning sensation at chest.

Peptic ulcer may cause chest pain or chest burning sensation.

Anxiety may cause chest pain.

Chest x ray and ECG helpful for diagnosis.
