What Causes Burning Sensation And Pain In The Pelvic Area?
My friend reports a burning pain in his right hip area, actually top of pelvis. Does not increase with touching. Took tylenol last night with relief but burning is worse today. He sits a lot, as his job requires a lot of driving. He is 63 y.o. No recent injury.

I really appreciate your concern, inflammatory condition of hip could be likely condition and it needs imaging study to confirm or rule out this till then analgesic can be tried but opinion form orthopedic surgeon is must hope this information helps.
