What Causes Burning Pain In The Rib Cage?

I have burning pain under my rib cage on right side. I have 3 growths on my liver, acute pancreatitis. A few weeks ago I had a shopping cart pushed into this area. It feels like my lowest rib moves now. My dr ran labs to check my liver but the swelling and pain are extreme. I go to dr on Wednesday as I m too afraid of emergency rooms. The psin gets so bad that my hair is soaked in sweat.
