What Causes Bumps Beneath The Skin On The Inside Of Foot?

Recently, I've noticed these bumps beneath the skin on the inside of my foot, under the arch. They're tender to touch or put any pressure on. The only thing I can think of is a recent (maybe a month ago) puncture wound on the same area from a piece of wood. At the time of the wound, it only bled a little so I ignored it and let it heal on it's own. Now the arch of my foot is in pain whenever there is too much pressure on it.
