What Causes Bulges At The Back Of The Throat?

Hi my daughter had her tonsils out and adenoids she it s been 3 days and her mucous build up makes her feel like she can t breath and her chest feels like she has bulges in the back of her throat is this normal!! I m getting concerned she wo t be able to breathe in her sleep

Hi,

If the tonsils are removed, the majority of the instances are due to inflammation at the base of the tonsil fossa through upper respiratory tract infection. Still a consultation with ENT is mandatory as there is difficulty in breathing in sleep.
