Hi,
It is rare to have fast spreading blood bubble on palate that is causing breathing problem and getting relief on rupture of the bubble.
The commonest causes I can think about are as follows:
Patient on blood thinners like Aspirin low dose,
clopidogrel can develop such fast spreading
hematoma on minor injury which can be caused by something sharp or hard in food you ate.
Bleeding in a cyst or cancerous growth.
Severe allergy like
anaphylaxis or angio-neurotic edema.
I would advise the following in such a situation:
Urgent care at ER or nearby hospital.
Steroids and antihistamine.
Anti-inflammatory medicines only if indicated and the bleeding profile is normal.
Find out other causes and avoid these altogether; so have to have
soft diet only.
Further investigations of blood, local like CT scan as would be needed after clinical evaluation and examination.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
