I badly bruised the inside of my calf, directly medial to my tibia, a week and a half ago. Now, the center of the bruise feels like a fluid filled compartment with some hardened areas that I can't rub out. But it doesn't hurt to walk, run, play soccer, etc. Is this something serious? I am a doctor of physical therapy and have never seen something like this...what do you think it is and what do I do about it?
