Hello,

As per my long clinical experience, the issue of bruising and tenderness on big toenails sound to be ingrowing toenails with a secondary infection which is very common to present on both sides.

Primary relief with sitz fomentation and later on consulting with your surgeon is a must to cure ahead.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
