What Causes Brownish Patches Of Skin In Groin Area?
I have noticed brownish patches of skin by my groin and they don t hurt or anything I just know they are not birth marks so I m curious if its something to worry about I m 26 years old good health and also hypoglycemic any help would be greatful thanks in advance.
It may be erythrasma caused by bacteria corynebacterium minutissimum. The lesion may be asymptomatic brown patch... Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis.
I would suggest...
- antibiotic like doxycycline or azithromycine in proper dose for two weeks - application of clindamycine or metronidazole gel - avoid soap bath - cleanse with diluted dettol - keep the area dry
I hope this would clear your lesions
Thanks.
